Jennifer L. Eschedor

Senior Counsel

Biography

For more than 30 years, Jen Eschedor has counseled individuals and families on a broad range of estate planning and transfer tax matters and assisted and advised trust and estate beneficiaries and fiduciaries in all aspects of trust and estate administration. Known for her practical approach and clarity, Jen helps clients navigate complex estate, trust and tax issues with confidence. Her deep knowledge of the generation-skipping transfer tax and experience working directly with the IRS have made Jen a trusted advisor to beneficiaries and fiduciaries and collaborator with their other advisors.

Whether working with a young couple “just starting out” or seasoned business owners approaching retirement, understanding her clients’ values and individual family circumstances is the foundation for Jen’s approach to planning. Connecting that understanding with her knowledge of trust and tax law, Jen works with clients to develop and implement tax-efficient estate plans to preserve and transfer their wealth in a manner that is reflective of their values and responsive to their family’s needs, with the flexibility to adapt to those needs as they may change over time.

Jennifer and her husband live in Wellington and are both very active in their church. Jen teaches Kindergarten and First Grade Sunday School, sing with the Praise Team, serves on the Christian Education Committee, and participates in various other outreach and fellowship activities.
