Biography
Charbel Najm is an Associate in the Firm’s Business and Real Estate Practice Groups. He concentrates his practice on commercial real estate, real estate development, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions.
Charbel represents regional real estate developers, owners, investors, and other businesses in a broad range of commercial real estate matters. His practice includes the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, disposition, and operation of commercial real estate assets. He regularly represents regional developers in transactions involving national tenants and assists clients with the legal and business considerations arising throughout the development and leasing process. His experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, construction and related project agreements, easements, operating agreements, and other documents integral to complex real estate transactions.
In addition to his real estate practice, Charbel advises clients on corporate and LLC matters and mergers and acquisitions, including entity formation, governance, ownership and transfer arrangements, and transactional agreements. His combined real estate and corporate experience allows him to approach transactions with an understanding of both the underlying real estate and the broader business objectives of his clients.
Charbel received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2022. During law school, he externed at the Supreme Court of the State of New York, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Cuyahoga County Law Department, the Cleveland Clinic, and SIG Development Corp.
Prior to law school, Charbel earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, summa cum laude. He is a proud graduate of Gilmour Academy and remains actively involved in giving back to the Gilmour community.
