Meet Our Summer Interns

We’re excited to welcome our Summer Interns Colton Jennings and Jess Paumier to the firm. Colton and Jess join us for a summer of hands-on experience, meaningful work, and an inside look at the practice of law—working alongside our attorneys and learning from exceptional mentors.

Colton Jennings has a broad interest in corporate law, civil litigation, and trusts and estates. At Cleveland State University College of Law, Colton serves as Chief Publication Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review, and President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Association. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, he is a former collegiate athlete and the founder of Nourish Kits, a nonprofit organization that provides meal assistance to families at local elementary schools.

Prior to starting law school at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Jess Paumier was anticipating going into tax law due to his background in accounting, but after taking property law last spring Jess developed an interest in real estate law and trusts and estates because he believes helping people prepare for the future is a meaningful pursuit. Jess grew up in Salem, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in accounting. This past academic year, he served as an associate editor on the Journal of Law, Technology, & the Internet.

We’re glad they’re here and look forward to what’s ahead!
